Whether you are already working in the industry or not, this qualification will enhance your basic workshop engineering skills, getting them up to industry standard.
All strands cover workshop safety featuring training on the correct policies, procedures and regulations necessary to enable safe and efficient operation in the workplace. Each strand then covers specialist tool and equipment use as well as the study and practical application of the relevant electronic technology, brakes and steering, engines and cooling, transmission and driveline, tuning and fuel, electrical and HVAC systems.
Upon graduation you can continue with study at level 4 attaining further specialist knowledge and skills in automotive engineering, or gain work as an apprentice technician under supervision within your field of expertise.
